The client

Working Enneagram Solutions is Joey Schewee's coaching practice. She uses the Enneagram to help teams understand why colleagues think, feel and act the way they do. Joey has been my client, and my friend, since 2021. I've led the brand and designed and built every version of her site since.

The book launch

In 2025 Joey published When Working Together Doesn't Work. I rebuilt the homepage around it: the cover as the hero, the two #1 New Release badges it earned on Amazon, ordering links up front, and an executive coaching section with booking built in.

Bringing the cover to life

The cover was designed by someone else. I took its vector file apart and animated it with GSAP. Each of the nine cogs turns at its own speed, and neighbors turn in opposite directions, like gears that mesh. The thin construction lines behind them slowly breathe in and out.

Five years, one site

The first version launched in 2021 with the brand's navy wordmark, client tributes and the nine Enneagram types. Since then the site has grown with the practice: a dark theme with a scrolling wall of client logos in early 2025, then the book launch. Along the way we've explored other builds together too, from a Next.js rebuild to an Enneagram content library.
